Roland Gorgosilich - Bosmans Restaurant

Roland was born in Austria and worked in predominantly Michelin star restaurants in Europe.  As the Executive Chef of Bosman’s Restaurant at the Grand Roche Hotel in Paarl, he has won many awards, both locally and internationally. 

Roland has participated in numerous local and international culinary events such as the Rheingau Festival, the “Tribute to Claudia” at the Vila Joya Fine Dining Restaurant in Portugal and has represented South Africa at the Vienna Olymp Culinaric. He prefers to work with fresh, seasonal, local organic products offering his guests the chance to enjoy a journey of culinary expertise when he combines classic/modern cooking techniques with imagination and innovation.

Amongst other establishments, Roland’s CV reveals work as a Chef Tournant at the two Michelin star Wald-und Schloss Hotel Friedrichsruhe by Lothar Eiermann and the three Michelin star Ritz Carlton Restaurant Aqua in Wolsburg. He also worked as a Chef Tournant at The Villa Hammerschmiede as well as Sous Chef at the Hotel Schloss Fuschl near his native Salzburg, both Michelin accredited restaurants.
